PORT HUENEME, Calif. (May 6, 2022) Machinery Repairman 1st Class Olga Lowers relays communications between Chemical, Biological and Radiological reaction teams stationed throughout Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18’s training site during Command Post Exercise (CPX). CPX is a training evolution conducted by Seabee battalions to assess their mission readiness exercise to prepare battalions for future operations. NMCB 18 Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service. They provide task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
