PORT HUENEME, Calif. (May 6, 2022) Machinery Repairman 1st Class Olga Lowers dons a Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) Chemical Protective Ensemble during a simulated Chemical, Biological and Radiological attack part of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18’s Command Post Exercise (CPX). CPX is a training evolution conducted by Seabee battalions to assess their mission readiness exercise to prepare battalions for future operations. NMCB 18 Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service. They provide task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
