U.S. Air Force Capt. Luke Scott, left, 13th Fighter Squadron pilot, and Airman 1st Class Victor Hawkins, 13th Fighter Generation Squadron crew chief, walk off the flight line during RED FLAG-Alaska 22-3 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Aug. 10, 2022. As a reward for great work, RF-A 22-3 leaders were able to organize incentive flights for Airmen during some of the training sorties. Hawkins was awarded the Department of the Air Force Air and Space Achievement Medal for providing and directing medical care to victims of a car accident involving a moose before emergency medical services responders arrived on the scene. According to Hawkins' leaders, the care the Airmen provided greatly increased the victims' odds of survival. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Timothy Moore)
