Members of each nation signify the end of this event by lowering their respective flags during the closing ceremony of Exercise Platinum Lion 2022 at Novo Selo Training Area, Aug. 5, 2022. Exercise Platinum Lion is a battalion-level event designed to provide quality, organized and realistic training for designated military units from the United States, United Kingdom and Bulgaria. The exercise reinforces relationships in a combined training environment, builds understanding of partner nation tactics, techniques and procedures and increases interoperability with these NATO Allies and partner forces.
