HONIARA, SOLOMON ISLANDS (Aug. 23, 2022) – Cameron Inomae, oral health therapist with Honiara City Council Dental Services, demonstrates proper handwashing techniques after participateing in a seminar on infection prevention and control, presented by Lt. Cmdr. Alice-Anne Alcorn, Aug. 23, 2022, at the Honiara City Council Dental Clinic. The Solomon Islands Dental Association invited Alcorn to present the seminar as part of their continuing education program. The U.S. Navy dentist is in Honiara for Pacific Partnership 2022. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. In Honiara, the Pacific Partnership 2022 team is comprised of representatives from Australia, Japan, and the United States.
