U.S. Marine Corps retired Col. Andrew Solgere, a national park ranger at Fort Sumter, welcomes 6th Marine Corps Recruiting District Marines and the District Commanding Officer, Col. Lance J. Langfeldt, to Fort Sumter, Charleston, South Carolina, Aug. 25, 2022. Solgere shared the American history of Fort Sumter and provided insight of his own recruiting experience as a previous commanding officer of 12th Marine Corps District. As part of a new incentive, Langfeldt gathered top performing 6MCD Marine recruiters to collaborate and enhance their recruiting methods for their respective recruiting stations.
