Country Singer/Songwriter Riley Green joins the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officer Academy - Fort. Rucker in conducting the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). The 2020 American Country Music (ACM) Awards winner for new male artist of the year is all about bringing country back to its roots and obviously isn’t afraid to get a little dirt on his tires as he is seen here during one of the ACFT events, the sprint, drag, carry. This event alone requires a Soldier to sprint down and back 25 meters, drag a 90lb sled down and back the same distance, next is a lateral sprint, then sprint carrying 40lb dumbbells in each hand, and finally finishing with another sprint. This is a timed event and the faster you complete it the more points are earned. The ACFT is one of the requirements of the NCO Academy Advanced and Senior Leaders Courses that measures the students endurance and physical ability and determines the overall physical fitness score on their final school evaluation. The ACFT will count as a record requirement for all Soldiers in the Army starting October 1st this year.
