During The Great Minnesota Get-Together's, Military Appreciation Day, Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke visited various veteran focused booths, August 30, 2022, near Dan Patch Park in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. This year’s focus was to honor the thousands of employers of members of the Minnesota National Guard, reserves and their families. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves, known as ESGR, is celebrating their 50th year of promoting cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.
