A teenager keeps his Apache helicopter in flight during the Meet Your Army expo at Fort Bliss, Texas, Aug. 26, 2022. The Fort Bliss Simulations Center staff brought several sims to the 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss Museum for the event intended to share the benefits of military service with prospective applicants. Bliss is home to extensive simulator systems that not only aid Soldiers in rehearsing moves they’ll perform in the field, but also allows them to interface with other real-world, partner units who are also training on the virtual battlefield so that teams can plot and plan their maneuvers together, before ever stepping outside.
