Veterans of operation "MARKET GARDEN" attend a Memorial in Veghel, Netherlands, Sep. 11, 2022 to commemorate the 78th year of the operation.
This memorial is to honor and remember the brave actions of the men that fought to liberate Holland from German occupation during World War II.
This was the first of three events being held around area where operation "MARKET GARDEN" took places.
Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will in all three ceremonies throughout the Netherlands and reconnect with the Dutch citizens and together honor and remember the brave actions of the men that fought to liberate Holland from German occupation during World War II.
