The 5-17 Air Cavalry Squadron conducted its first spur ride since the unit was activated in May from September 1-2, 2022. Soldiers tested their trust in their equipment by spending time in the tear gas chamber entering with their equipment donned and exiting with their equipment removed. Removing the equipment in the chamber shows Soldiers that their equipment works and the importance of utilizing it in a time of contingency.
