Col. Angel Estrada (left) and Command Sgt. Maj. Amador Aguillen (right), the 16th Sustainment Brigade command team, hosted multiple U.S. Army officer cadets (center). During June, July, and August of 2022, cadets actively enrolled in a University's Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) take advantage of multiple training opportunities, including visiting and shadowing active duty units and Leaders. During their visits the Cadets learn about positions newly appointed officers’ find themselves in, and the roles they will inherit. During their visit, the command team sat down with these cadets and shared their vast experience and knowledge in both military training and ongoing operations, as well as what it is like being stationed overseas.
