Lt. Gen. Sir Ralph Wooddisse, currently serving as commander of the British Field Army, visited the U.S. Military Academy to provide wisdom to the Corps of Cadets during the Kermit Roosevelt Lecture on Sept. 29 at Robinson Auditorium. The Kermit Roosevelt Exchange Lecture Series began in 1947. The idea for an annual exchange of American and British military lecturers came from Mrs. Kermit Roosevelt, who intended to memorialize her late husband. The exchange lectures have been held every year since 1947.
