Dr. Tai Ming Cheung, professor and director, University of California Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation delivers a keynote address titled “The Rise of the Chinese Techno-Security State: The Convergence Between Economic, Technological, and Military Power and Implications for the U.S.” at the 2022 National Defense Transportation Association - U.S. Transportation Command Fall Meeting, St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 17, 2022. His presentation provided an examination of the growing and increasingly advanced bases of economic, technological, and military power of the Chinese state under the leadership of Xi Jinping. The Fall Meeting provides a unique forum where Department of Defense industry professionals gather to discuss defense logistics and transportation challenges, opportunities, innovations, new technologies, best practices, and adapting logistics for a contested environment in the 21st century.
