U.S. Army UH-60M Black Hawk and two AH-64E Apache helicopters, alongside two Italian F-2000 Eurofighter Typhoons, perform a flyover of Udairi Landing Zone in Camp Buehring, Kuwait, October 17, 2022. The Black Hawk was flown by Task Force Rough Rider pilots of 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, Assault Helicopter Battalion, attached to 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, and the Apaches were flown by Task Force No Mercy pilots of the 1st Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, Attack Helicopter Battalion, attached to the 36th CAB. The Eurofighter Typhoons were flown by jet fighter pilots from Task Group Typhoon, Italian National Contingent Air Command, stationed at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. The flyover followed a joint personnel recovery training mission conducted in the Udairi Range as a result of a month-long planning effort between the two partner nations supporting Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve mission in the Middle East.
