David Dinkins, from Mount Airey, North Carolina, monitors contacts during an exercise in the combat information center (CIC) aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), Oct. 13. USS Benfold (DDG 65), USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312), and USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE-2) are participating in joint bilateral integration with III MEF and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) in support of Resolute Dragon 2022.
