Air Base 201 welcomes new command chief, Chief Master Sgt. Rex Panting to Niger. His background includes four years as a basic military training instructor, time as an armament maintenance technician, and most recently as a contracting squadron chief.
“I look back at my career and nobody ever grabbed Sgt. Panting and said ‘Hey! This is the way.’. I’m trying to give everything I have to the airmen, so I set them up for success. I truly get up every day and do what I do, because I love airmen. That's it.”
