U.S. Marines with Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) Alpha Company conduct decontamination training at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head and Annex Stump Neck, Maryland, Oct. 17, 2022. The CBIRF Marines conducted the training during a tour of the facility for U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Brian W. Cavanaugh, commanding general, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command. During the tour, he received briefs from CBIRF command staff, toured facilities used by CBIRF, talked to CBIRF Marines and Sailors, and received a demonstration of the response force’s capabilities in case of a crisis.
