William Lietzau, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) director, reflects on the history and heritage of America’s Hispanic community during the first virtual DCSA Hispanic Heritage Month Senior Executive Service (SES) Speed Mentoring Observance, Oct. 6. Army Sgt. Adrianna D’Baron, military assistant for the DCSA Director’s Office, and Chris Gillis, DCSA digital media strategist (not pictured), directs the program from the agency’s Quantico studio as participants throughout DCSA regions tuned in via Zoom. SES members representing several prominent federal agencies - NASA, ICE, NSF and SBA – as well as the Navy – shared their wisdom, insight and experience as Hispanics climbing the ladder to senior leadership positions in the federal government. The speed mentoring event was sponsored by the agency’s Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity in partnership with the National Association of Hispanic Federal Executives.
