U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Brian Jarman, senior air director, with 3d Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division walks to a combat operations center at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 25, 2022. 3d Marine Littoral Regiment established the Alpha command node which provides the commander the ability to direct, plan, and coordinate within the assigned Zone of Action. Bougainville II is a field exercise that allows the MLR and its subordinate units to conduct expeditionary advanced base operations across the island of Oahu.
