CLEVELAND, Ohio (October 28, 2022) The crew of USS Cooperstown (LCS 23) present a painting of USS Cooperstown to be placed in the Bob Feller exhibit at Progressive Field. The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation in conjunction with the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Major League Baseball led by the Cleveland Guardians, along with NEOPAT honored the USS Cooperstown (LCS 23) by presenting the United States Navy The Bust of Bob Feller at Progressive Field. The bust to be placed in the Chief’s mess of the Cooperstown. The crew presented a painting of USS Cooperstown to be placed in the Bob Feller exhibit at Progressive Field. The foundation represents the 39 National Baseball Hall of Fame Members who served in WWII led by Bob Feller, as he was the first professional athlete to enlist two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
