In this image from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer modis.gsfc.nasa.gov (MODIS) on NASA's terra.nasa.gov Terra satellite, dust stretches northeastward from Libya and Egypt all the way to the island of Cyprus (upper right).
