Command Sgt. Maj. James Redmore, 10th Mountain Division (LI), jokes with 1st Sgt. Jeffrey Burke, of the 1/10th Mtn. Div.'s 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, about the strength and combat skills of Army Rangers.
The division's 1st BCT deployed to the Kirkuk area of northern Iraq in September of 2007, when they began a 15-month combat tour.
Redmore, along with 10th Mtn. Div. Commander Maj. Gen. Mike Oates, visited with Soldiers throughout the 1st BCT Jan. 24th and 25th; recognizing their efforts and giving them update on the state of the division.
