SINGAPORE (Oct. 28, 2022) -- U.S. Naval Academy Class of '96 graduates, Capt. Frank Okata, left, and Capt. Samuel F. de Castro participate in de Castro's change-of-command ceremony in Singapore, Oct. 28. For two years, de Castro served as the commodore of Military Sealift Command Far East. Okata officiated the event and presented de Castro with his end-of-tour award. MSCFE ensures approximately 50 ships in the Indo-Pacific region, are manned, trained and equipped to deliver essential supplies, fuel, cargo, and equipment to warfighters, both at sea and on shore.
