Lt. Gen. David Ottignon discusses retention of Marines with his commanders and senior enlisted leaders at a mess hall. The senior leaders met with the II Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General on October 14, 2022 at Camp Lejeune, N.C. These leaders are deemed 'mission makers' as their units reached 100% of their FTAP aggregate goal for Fiscal Year 2023 within the first three months of the submission period. The focus of the lunch was to share each other's approach in an effort to spread those techniques throughout the MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Maj. Terry Carter)
