A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (VMM 266), follows a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules, assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252(VMGR 252), over East Africa Nov. 1, 2022. The refueling unit is deployed from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and supports the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa by providing aerial refueling, airdrop and rescue capabilities to the area of operations.
