221124-N-SE292-1004 (NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO) - U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Kodi Lock, an Anti-Submarine Warfare / Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW) Warfare Tactics Instructor, was recently selected for both the Politico-Military Masters Scholarship and the Secretary of Defense Strategic Thinkers Scholarship programs. Lock intends to accept the Politico-Military Masters Scholarship and apply to Princeton, Harvard, JHU and Tufts to complete her Master’s degree beginning in 2023.
Her shore tours include service as a Concepts, Technology and Integration Analyst at the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). She currently serves at Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center’s (SMWDC) Surface Advanced Warfighting School in San Diego, California, where she updates surface warfighting tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).
Lock is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and attended Central Bucks High School West and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2009 and was commissioned through the NROTC program.
