Soldiers in the 801st Field Hospital who are part of Joint Task Force Med 374 competed in the 500lb/1000lb weight lifting competition in Baghdad, Iraq. The rules are, you get three attempts to lift as much weight as you can at three stations; the bench press, deadlift and the squat. Females had to lift a combined weight of over 500lbs, men who weigh less than 165lbs must lift a combined weight of over 750lbs and men who weigh over 165lbs must lift a combined weight of over 1000lbs.
