Sgt. Justin McCurdy, pictured third from the right in the back row, started the Barbell Club in Baghdad, Iraq to help improve form and technique in Soldiers that are new to weight lifting. Sgt. McCurdy started his journey into powerlifting nine years ago and never looked back. The club gathers once a week, where Sgt. McCurdy demonstrates different exercises with weights, as well as bodyweight exercises for those that want a lean physique.
