Pacific Partnership staff and partner nation representatives pose for a group photo during the initial planning conference in San Diego, Dec. 8 ahead of Pacific Partnership 2023 (PP23). The five-day conference provides a forum for discussion with mission staff and partner nations. PP23, scheduled to begin in Summer, 2023, is the U. S. Navy's humanitarian and civic assistance mission conducted with and through partner nations, non-governmental organizations and other U.S. and international government agencies to execute a variety of humanitarian civic action missions across the Indo-Pacific region. Pacific Partnership is designed to strengthen alliances, improve U.S. and partner capacity to deliver humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and improve regional security cooperation among partner nations.
