    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District

    Project managers and engineers from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division's Fort Worth District and Galveston District, along with city officials from Wharton, Texas, held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the Santa Fe Ditch, Nov. 9, 2022. Joining in the event were the Wharton Mayor, Tim Barker, Council members Don Mueller, Larry Pittman and Clifford Jackson, the City Manager Joseph Pace, and many other city officials.

    The Army Corps of Engineers team included members from both districts to include Army Capt. Joseph Sterr, Mike Kingston and Andrew Park, all from the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, along with Don Carelock, Rob Thomas and Brandon Smolinsky from Galveston District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
