AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force selected Army Staff Sgt. Isaac Espinosa as the 2021 “Bil Enney” Award task force member of the year Dec. 8, 2022, at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. Espinosa’s dedication to duty and performance with the Texas Counterdrug’s Drug Demand Reduction Outreach program helped grow the reach and reputation of the DDRO program in order to further provide support, traininng, education and resources to law enforcement agencies, community outreach organizations, and communities. The “Bil Enney” Award is presented to one task force member every year and was created in honor of Master Sgt. (Ret.) William R. “Bil” Enney who was the founder and instrumental advocate in the construction of the Texas Counterdrug program and the counterdrug programs nationally across 54 states and territories.
