U.S. Coast Guard conducts operations, engagements in Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands [Image 22 of 29]
The USCGC Oliver Henry (WPC 1140) crew and Maritime Safety and Security Team Honolulu personnel stand for a photo with Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Customs and Biosecurity officers in Saipan following a subject-matter expertise exchange on Dec. 11, 2022. The crew completed a local patrol off Guam and the CNMI from Nov. 28 to Dec. 7, 2022, including the first-ever 154-foot Fast Response Cutter port visit to Tinian. The objectives of this patrol support Operation Blue Pacific. They include supporting Maritime Safety and Security Team Honolulu law enforcement boardings, validating Tinian as a port of call for future U.S. Coast Guard ship visits, and conducting community engagements.
