Congratulations to Special Agents Leona Mansapit, Fort Leonard Wood, and Mike Ringman, Joint Base Lewis–McChord, for graduating the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Dec. 8.
The National Academy is a 10-week professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement managers nominated by their agency heads because of demonstrated leadership qualities.
The world-class curriculum taught by FBI SME’s counts for graduate course work at the University of Virginia. One of the most important aspects of the Academy is the professional networking with leaders in Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and International Law Enforcement organizations with access to alumni from other sessions. This networking has proved invaluable time and again for speedily solving major crime that spans multiple jurisdictions, cutting through bureaucracy that couldn’t be achieved otherwise.
Special thanks to retired CID Special Agent James Miller for providing the graduation news and photo.
