The 39th Maintenance Squadron emblem is displayed on the new munitions flight building at Incirlik Air Base, Türkiye, Dec. 19, 2022. Col. Calvin Powell, 39th Air Base Wing commander, and Maj. Jeffrey Allen, 39th Maintenance Squadron commander, presided over a ceremony to officially open the new 39th MXS munitions flight building, which was designed to provide a streamlined means of communication within the ammunitions flight and assist Airmen in building camaraderie and teamwork. The building also provides better protection for munitions assets controlled by the flight and consolidates six sections into a single building, increasing productivity for current and future Airmen.
