Members of the Tigua Indian Tribe perform an eagle dance at the Tigua Indian Cultural Center, El Paso, Texas, Oct. 13, 2012, as part of a weekly demonstration designed to share the tribe’s culture as well as preserve that culture for future generations. The eagle dance is a tribute to the American eagle which is respected and honored by the Tiguas for its beauty and power, as well as being seen as the messenger to their creator.
