The Arrestor cable is to be used only in case of an emergency during take-off or landing in order to provide aircraft a way to stop safely when travelling at high speed.
Operation Noble Defender is a series of NORAD operations that validates the command’s capability to defend the United States and Canada against threats from every avenue of approach, and demonstrate the ability to integrate with other defense and security partners for a holistic defense of North America.
