Florida National Guard Staff Sgt. Cassi Harper, supply non-commission officer, with the 2nd Battalion, 151st Aviation Regiment handles supply requirements so that Soldier's and Airmen’s needs are met while on the mission, Marathon, F.L., January 2023. The Florida National Guard has been activated to support Governor Ron DeSantis’ recent Executive Order 23-03, dated January 6, 2023, to provide resources in support of state and local agencies responding to an influx of migrant landings in South Florida. As a supporting agency, the Florida National Guard is activating up to 150 personnel and 12 helicopters to assist in detecting, identifying, and reporting activity through ongoing aviation operations out of the Florida Keys.
