SAN DIEGO – (Feb. 10, 2023) Chief Boatswain’s Mate Lv Rosebudhill, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, shares the history of the second ship named USS Boxer, a 10-gun schooner, during a celebration on the mess decks. USS Boxer (LHD 4) is the 6th ship to bear the name in two centuries and is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship homeported in San Diego.
