U.S. Army and Kuwait crewmembers prepare to move out in their Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance vehicles to conduct CBRN operations during Dragon Defender at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Feb. 13, 2023. The M1135 NBCRV is equipped with a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear warfare detection system which will keep the crew compartment airtight and provide nuclear, biological, and chemical detection and surveillance for battlefield hazard visualization. Dragon Defender is a bilateral training exercise between the American and Kuwaiti military that allows both nations to grow in their partnership and allow for future joint operations. Both nations work together to build tactics, techniques, and procedures that will allow them to work seamlessly in the future together. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. David Campos-Contreras)
