U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Richard Renfroe, 87th Medical Group paramedic, and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Renfroe and Calderon were the Medical Group’s first two paramedics who then dedicated additional on and off-duty hours to oversee training their squadron’s newest paramedics to provide Advanced Life Support care. The ALS ribbon-cutting ceremony was a celebratory event for Joint Base MDL in achieving ALS status.
