Command Sgt. Maj. Jose Sanchez, the command sergeant major of the 198th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, talk to the 1744th Transportation Company NCOs after the 1744th Transportation Company's Welcome Home Ceremony. The 1744th Transportation Company, based in Crestwood, Ill., held its Welcome Home Ceremony on Feb. 18 in Elk Grove Village as part of the unit's final reintegration event. The unit returned in November after a 13-month federal deployment to the nation's Southwest Border.
