U.S. Army medics practice CASEVAC with a C12 Huron

U.S. Army Sgt. Craig Barrows, a combat medic with the 345th Medical Company Ground Ambulance and Sgt. Stacie Phillips with the U.S. Army Reserve’s 911th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Detachment rehearse a casualty evacuation with a U.S. Army Reserve C12 at Isiolo International Airport, in Isiolo, Kenya on Feb. 12, 2023. The C12s are from the 2-228th Aviation Regiment, one of only two fixed-wing battalions in the entire army reserve, and are supporting Justified Accord for ambulatory casualty evacuation. Justified Accord is U.S. Africa Command's largest exercise in East Africa. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), this multi-national exercise brings together more than 20 countries from four continents to increase partner readiness for peacekeeping missions, crisis response and humanitarian assistance.
