Marines with Charlie Battery, Gun 2, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, fire off a 155mm round to a target located by forward observers during Operation Rolling Thunder at Fort Bragg, N.C. Oct. 18. The reason for the field operation was to practice basic fundamentals in a larger and new environment so Marines were able to gain knowledge and experience in a deployment mindset.
