U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Bravo Company, Task Force Patriot, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. conduct weapon familiarization with members of the Royal Thai Army (RTA) at the RTA Artillery Center, Lopburi, Kingdom of Thailand, during Cobra Gold 23 March 1, 2023. Weapons familiarization is vital for allied forces to conduct so every service member can confidently and effectively demonstrate skill with each unique weapon in their arsenal. Cobra Gold, now in its 42nd iteration, demonstrates our ongoing readiness to operate throughout the region in support of allies and partners, to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
