Spencer Giles, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Omaha District, Readiness Branch chief, provides comments during a demonstration of a portable EBS Environmental Bagging System that can produce 25-30 sandbags per minute while conducting flood-fight training at the Missouri River Project Office in Omaha, Nebraska March 2. More than 100 people from the Omaha District and various agencies throughout the upper Missouri River Basin region attended the training provided by the district’s Emergency Operations Center and Missouri River Project Office where they learned about flood fighting techniques and the capabilities of USACE in the event of a flood fight.
