Kathy Blencoe visits with Kaleen Holliday and Christopher Hanson of the Fort McCoy Public Affairs Office on March 6, 2023, at the Fort McCoy History Center at Fort McCoy, Wis. The Vietnam War-era Army uniform of Alan Blencoe, Kathy’s husband, was donated to History Center. Blencoe, a former Army sergeant who served in Vietnam and the Army from February 1970 to December 1971, served as the supervisory public safety dispatcher at Fort McCoy from April 2011 to May 2019 when he retired.
