U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson, I Corps commanding general, visited Fort Magsaysay (FMMR) on 11 March 2023 where he received honors by the Philippine Army 7th Infantry Division command team.
Afterwards, he conducted an office call with Maj. Gen. Andrew D. Costelo, the Philippine Army 7th Infantry Division commander and Brig. Gen. Guinid, 1st Brigade Combat Team commanding general.
His battlefield circulation of FMMR consisted of facility tours, visiting 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s logistics support area (LSA), and enjoying lunch with soldiers from the brigade and Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF). His visit exemplifies our close bonds with our Philippine allies, our commitment to readiness, and the strength of our #Partnership.
The U.S. Army's 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division along with the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division Philippine Army (PA), will be conducting exercise Salaknib 2023 (SN23), starting March 13, 2023 on Fort Magsaysay, Philippines.
