Canadian warship HMCS Charlottetown conducted a boarding of a vessel in the northern Persian Gulf off the coast of Pakistan. Canadian naval officer Lt(N) Jake French recently facilitated the transition of the ship from the American to Pakistani led task force working in the region. Her Majesty's Canadian Ship Charlottetown is currently deployed on Operation ALTAIR (Roto 3), Canada's maritime contribution to the continuing United States led campaign against terrorism known as Operation Enduring Freedom.
