PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (March 6, 2023) A Coast Guard Maritme Enforcement Petty Officer 2nd Class, assigned to Tactical Law Enforcement Team Pacific, disembarks from a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) after conducting small boat operations from Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Mobile (LCS 26), March 6. Littoral Combat Ships are fast, optimally-manned, mission tailored surface combatants that operate in near-shore and open-ocean environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats. Mobile is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Victoria Granado)
